Product Overview

Refractory Sleeves are high-precision ceramic components engineered to protect heating elements, thermocouples, electrical connections, and critical internal parts in high-temperature and chemically demanding furnace environments. Manufactured from premium Alumina, High-Alumina, and Mullite, our sleeves ensure long service life, reliable electrical insulation, and superior structural integrity.
For furnace OEMs, wholesalers, and industrial distributors, selecting the right sleeve involves more than maximum operating temperature. Key factors such as material purity, thermal shock resistance, furnace atmosphere, precise tolerances, and thermal cycling performance must be balanced. Our technical team works directly with your engineering specifications to supply custom-tailored solutions for new equipment builds and replacement programs.

Key Performance Features

High-Temperature Thermal Stability: Exceptional load-bearing capability and dimensional integrity under continuous extreme heat.
Superior Electrical Insulation: High dielectric strength makes dense alumina ideal for isolating heating elements and high-voltage connections.
Thermal Shock & Cycle Resistance: Mullite grades offer significantly lower thermal expansion, reducing stress and preventing cracking under rapid thermal cycling.
Corrosion & Chemical Resistance: Highly resistant to reducing and oxidizing furnace atmospheres, acid vapors, and molten process residues.
Precision Precision Machining & Geometry: Tight-tolerance ID/OD, specialized keyways, wall thickness, side holes, and slots produced strictly according to approved drawings (PDF / DWG / STEP).

Key Applications

Heating Element Protection: Insulating and shielding metallic or ceramic heating elements.
Thermocouple & Sensor Protection: Multi-bore and single-bore protective sleeves preventing chemical attack on temperature sensors.
High-Temperature Electrical Bushings: Spacers, feedthroughs, and insulating tubes for power feed-throughs.
Industrial Thermal Processing: Firing kilns, vacuum furnaces, sintering equipment, semiconductor thermal processing, and metallurgy.
OEM Assembly & Replacement: Custom-built components for industrial furnace builders and maintenance distributors.

Manufacturing & Quality Control

Our manufacturing system covers raw material preparation, precision forming (extrusion / ISO pressing), high-temperature sintering, and CNC diamond machining.

Strict Quality Standards: Produced under an ISO 9001 certified quality system.
Dimensional Integrity: Inner/outer diameter, straightness, and concentricity are checked against drawing specifications using CMM and optical tools.
Defect Inspection: 100% visual inspection ensures zero surface micro-cracks, chips, or air pockets.
First-Article Approval: Pre-production samples are supplied for OEM fitting checks to ensure seamless installation.

FAQ

Q: Alumina vs. Mullite-which material should I choose?

A: Alumina (95%–99.7%) is preferred for higher temperature resistance (up to 1750°C), superior electrical insulation, and chemical resistance. Mullite is recommended for applications with rapid temperature fluctuations due to its lower coefficient of thermal expansion and excellent thermal shock resistance.

Q: Can you manufacture custom shapes and tight tolerances?

A: Yes. We specialize in custom OEM components. We can produce custom lengths, stepped profiles, side slots, and hold tight dimensional tolerances (up to ±0.05 mm or ±1% depending on machining requirements).

Q: Can I get pre-production samples for testing?

A: Yes. For custom orders, pre-production samples can be provided for dimensional fit check and functional verification before mass production.

Q: What information is needed to receive a quick quote?

A: Please provide:
Technical drawing or key dimensions (ID, OD, Length, Wall Thickness)
Material preference (Alumina grade or Mullite).
Max working temperature and furnace atmosphere (e.g., Vacuum, Oxidizing, Reducing).
Estimated order quantity.
