Raw material preparation: The main raw material for silicon carbide rods is high-purity green silicon carbide, which also requires the addition of industrial silicon and carbon powder materials.
Molding: After mixing the raw materials according to a certain ratio, hydraulic molding can be carried out to form various shapes such as straight rod, U-shaped, W-shaped, etc.
Drying: The formed body needs to be dried to remove moisture and volatile substances.
High temperature sintering: Sintering is carried out at a high temperature of 2200 ℃ to combine silicon carbide with other materials, forming a hard rod-shaped electric heating element. This process can be traditional buried reaction sintering or new high-temperature vacuum furnace sintering.
Recrystallization: After high-temperature sintering, the component undergoes recrystallization treatment to enhance its physical and chemical properties.
Hot and cold end resistance coordination: According to the needs, resistance coordination is carried out between the hot and cold ends to ensure stable operation of the electric heating element during use.
Quality inspection: After completing the above process, conduct quality inspection on the silicon carbide rod to ensure that its performance meets the standards.
