Cleaning
Before using a silicon carbide rod, its surface needs to be wiped clean to remove any possible impurities.
After a period of use, a layer of black oxide will form on the surface of the silicon carbide rod, which needs to be cleaned in a timely manner. When cleaning, you can use a soft cloth or toothbrush dipped in some detergent to gently wipe the surface of the silicon carbide rod. Be careful not to scratch the surface with sharp metal objects.
After cleaning, it needs to be dried and not used directly.
Ignite
1. When using a silicon carbide rod to start a fire, it is necessary to first wipe its surface clean and ensure that the fishing hook or other metal objects are not bent or worn.
2. Collision the silicon carbide rod with a fishing hook or other metal object to generate sparks, and then direct the sparks towards flammable materials to ignite the fire source.
3. When starting a fire, attention should be paid to safety and do not use it in flammable or fire risk areas to avoid causing fires or other accidents.
