Custom SiC & MoSi₂ Heating Elements for Wholesale, OEM & Replacement Supply
Custom heating elements are manufactured for industrial furnace and kiln builders, wholesalers, importers, distributors, maintenance suppliers, and equipment manufacturers that require heating components matched to specific operating and installation requirements.
For industrial equipment, a heating element is not simply selected by material or shape. The element type, overall length, heating zone, cold-end length, diameter, electrical resistance, voltage, power and terminal configuration all need to correspond with the furnace design. This becomes particularly important for replacement orders, where the new element must fit an existing mounting system and work with an established electrical configuration.
Our custom heating element range is based primarily on silicon carbide (SiC) and molybdenum disilicide (MoSi₂) technologies. Products can be developed from technical drawings, existing samples, dimensions, electrical parameters or furnace requirements.
The goal of customization is practical: to manufacture a heating element around the customer's equipment requirements rather than forcing a non-standard application to use a standard product.

Industrial furnaces, kilns and high-temperature equipment |
The existing product range includes multiple SiC configurations, including ED, U, DB, H, W, SC, SCR and UX types, together with U, W, I, L and special-shaped MoSi₂ elements. This established range provides a practical manufacturing base for customized requirements.

SiC heating elements are used in high-temperature electric furnaces and kilns for applications including ceramic processing, sintering, heat treatment, metallurgy, glass and other thermal processes.
Different furnace structures require different element geometries. Depending on the application, customers may require straight, U-shaped or other configurations with specific heating-zone and cold-end dimensions.
The manufacturing process directly affects the finished element. According to the published manufacturing process, SiC materials are prepared, mixed with selected additives and binders, formed into the required geometry, dried and sintered at temperatures exceeding 2,000°C. Subsequent machining and electrical connection processes prepare the finished element for installation.
The use of dedicated forming and high-temperature sintering processes provides the manufacturing foundation for producing customized SiC elements with defined physical and electrical specifications.
MoSi₂ heating elements are designed for high-temperature electric furnace applications where molybdenum disilicide heating technology is appropriate.
Available configurations include U, W, I, L and special-shaped elements. The required geometry can be developed according to the furnace chamber, heating-zone layout and installation arrangement.
MoSi₂ forms a protective silica layer under suitable oxidizing conditions at elevated temperatures, which is one reason this material is used in high-temperature electric heating applications. Actual performance depends on the operating temperature, furnace atmosphere, electrical loading, installation and furnace design.
For this reason, material selection should be based on the complete operating environment rather than selecting a heating element solely from a maximum-temperature figure.

SiC vs. MoSi₂: Selecting the Appropriate Material
The correct material depends on the furnace and application.
|
Application Requirement |
Main Consideration |
|
Existing SiC element replacement |
Match the original material, geometry and electrical requirements |
|
Existing MoSi₂ element replacement |
Match the original material, geometry and electrical requirements |
|
New furnace project |
Evaluate temperature, atmosphere, heating zone and electrical system |
|
Limited installation space |
Consider customized geometry and dimensions |
|
Special-shaped heating zone |
Select an appropriate element configuration |
|
Repeat wholesale replacement |
Establish an approved specification for future orders |
For replacement projects, the original element is often the most useful reference. Providing the existing dimensions, electrical information or physical sample helps establish a more accurate replacement specification.
Customization Based on Real Furnace Requirements
Industrial buyers often require customization for practical reasons rather than simply because they want a different product shape.
Existing Element Replacement
A furnace may have a fixed mounting structure, meaning the replacement element needs to match the original dimensions and terminal arrangement.
01
Non-Standard Dimensions
The available space inside a furnace can determine the overall element length, heating zone, cold-end length and diameter.
02
Electrical Matching
Replacement elements may need to correspond with an existing voltage, power and resistance requirement. These parameters should therefore be considered together during technical evaluation.
03
Special Configurations
U, W, I, L and other configurations can be required when the heating zone or furnace structure does not allow a conventional straight element.
04
Repeat Procurement
Wholesalers and maintenance suppliers may need the same element specification repeatedly. Once the technical specification has been confirmed, it can serve as a reference for subsequent production.
05
These are practical reasons why drawing-based and sample-based manufacturing is valuable for industrial heating components.
Manufacturing Capability Behind Custom Production
Custom production requires more than the ability to modify a product drawing. The manufacturer must have the processes and equipment needed to prepare materials, form the element, complete high-temperature treatment, perform machining and control electrical characteristics.
The factory covers approximately 40,000 m² and includes eight production workshops organized around different manufacturing processes. Published factory information identifies equipment for mixing, crushing, hydraulic pressing, sintering, cutting, forming, docking and testing.
The manufacturing system includes processes covering material preparation, forming, drying, sintering, machining, resistance adjustment and finished-product processing. According to the published production information, SiC products undergo sintering at temperatures exceeding 2,000°C.
The factory also reports more than 40 patents related to production tools and product appearance. Its published company history describes the development of manufacturing capabilities from semi-finished processing toward finished heating element production and the development of specialized production equipment.
These manufacturing resources provide the production foundation for both established element designs and customized specifications.
Quality Control for Custom & Wholesale Orders
For industrial heating elements, quality should be assessed through measurable product characteristics rather than general statements such as “high quality.”
Depending on the approved specification, inspection can include:
- Overall dimensions
- Heating-zone dimensions
- Cold-end dimensions
- Element geometry
- Terminal position
- Surface condition
- Electrical resistance
- Connection integrity
- Packaging condition
Electrical resistance is particularly important because it directly affects the relationship between the supplied voltage and electrical power.
For wholesale customers, consistency between orders is also important. Once dimensions, material, electrical parameters and other requirements have been confirmed, the approved specification can be retained as the reference for subsequent orders. This helps distributors and replacement suppliers simplify repeat purchasing.
Wholesale, OEM & Replacement Supply
For Wholesalers and Importers
Custom production allows distributors to source heating elements for customers whose furnace equipment requires non-standard dimensions or configurations. Repeat specifications can be used for future purchasing.
For Furnace and Kiln Manufacturers
Elements can be developed according to equipment drawings, heating-zone requirements and electrical parameters for new equipment projects.
For Maintenance Suppliers
Existing elements, samples or drawings can be used as references when developing replacement heating elements.
For Industrial Distributors
A combination of established SiC and MoSi₂ configurations and custom manufacturing provides flexibility when supplying different furnace models and replacement requirements.
The objective is to provide a controlled specification that can be maintained from technical review through production and repeat supply.
A typical customized order follows a defined sequence:
Drawing or Sample Review
Review the customer's drawing, existing element, dimensions or furnace information.
Technical Parameter Confirmation
Confirm material, element type, heating zone, cold-end dimensions, voltage, power and resistance.
Production Preparation
Select the appropriate forming, sintering, machining and connection processes.
Manufacturing
Produce the element according to the approved specification.
Inspection
Check defined dimensional, electrical and physical characteristics.
Packaging
Protect the finished element according to its geometry and transportation requirements.
Repeat Supply
Use the approved specification as the reference for subsequent orders.
